Background

Due to the pandemic, our special 20th year anniversary physical exhibition was cancelled. There was alot of preparation done for a physical booth exhibition but Covid threw a wrench at these plans. We decided to push our efforts into coming up with a website instead.

Challenge

There were existing physical assets and there was an urgent request to shift these into a digital platform. Each profile had to be equally displayed (like a portfolio) and it had to be visual in nature, so the filtering had to be good. We wanted to add a special touch on 'liking' or 'favourite' the designers that you see for possible career match - after all, it is a graduation website, and we didn't want to miss out on the potential opportunities. How might we create a graduation portfolio website that is visually appealing to users, is easy to filter and navigate and to play back a little on the covid situation?

Solution

The turnaround time was short, but we managed to pull it off within 3 months. We present to you NUS DID class of 2020's e-graduation ... no masks required here!
